Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a "hands-on" manual therapy that works to realign your body's structure using a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. When there are restrictions in the body caused by injury, stress, repetitive strain, and poor posture, this restricts the flow of nerves, arteries, veins, and lymphatics, known as the four rivers of life.
When your life force stagnates, pain, inflammation, and disease can follow. An osteopathic manual practitioner uses gentle, non-invasive techniques to relieve your body's restrictions and increase joint mobility, allowing your "four rivers" to flow so the body can heal and regenerate. In this way, osteopathy can help relieve pain and interrupt any cycle of disease by restoring homeostasis.
Acupuncture
The World Health Organization has documented the success of acupuncture in treating over 43 health conditions. It is 100% natural and is one of the fastest-growing forms of health care in Canada. Acupuncture is based on a millennia-old evolution of medical theory and practice known today as Traditional Chinese Medicine. Acupressure, Cupping, Moxabustion, Tuina massage, and lifestyle recommendations are other treatment options with acupuncture.
Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, hands-on technique that works with the subtle rhythms of your craniosacral system—the membranes and fluid surrounding your brain and spinal cord. These rhythms support your nervous system, helping your body self-regulate and heal.
Restrictions or imbalances caused by stress, injury, concussions, or emotional tension can contribute to pain, headaches, fatigue, and psychosomatic symptoms. Through light touch and careful assessment, a craniosacral practitioner releases these restrictions, promotes fluid movement, and encourages deep relaxation.
By addressing both physical and emotional patterns, craniosacral therapy helps restore balance, reduce stress, and support recovery from injury or chronic tension.
